Overview

C-4000 combines precision light measuring technology, renowned in the industry with the flexibility and convenience of smartphone technology. Designed specifically for the lighting designer and field technician in mind, the C-4000 Spectrometer offers a compact, lightweight, sophisticated, and affordable solution, truly the dream tool for lighting designers.

With its 2.7” color touch screen, Bluetooth® enabled wireless communication and compatibility with Apple® and AndroidTM smartphone/tablet, the C- 4000 offers the most flexible and real time on-location data sharing than any other system in the market today.

The measurement screen specializes in basic functions, and displays the values ​​essential for light measurements, such as illuminance, color temperature, Δuv, color rendering properties (CRI, TM-30), and chromaticity coordinates (x, y), allowing you to quickly check the values ​​on site.

With the SEKONIC LD App installed on your smart device, remote measurements are easily achieved via Bluetooth connection. The app allows you to remotely trigger measurements, view numerical values and intuitive graphs of the results, and import stored data from the C-4000 to your smart device.

Firmware

Sekonic C-4000 SPECTROMETER Firmware

1. To update the firmware of your meter, install the Utility first.
2. Please see the software guide above in the software tab.
3. Press the "Update" button on the main screen of Utility, and follow the instruction.

IMPORTANT!:

1. Do not disconnect the cable during the firmware update under any circumstances.

2.  Please disable all power-saving features on your PC during the firmware update, including sleep mode and automatic power-off. If your PC enters power saving mode during the update, the power supply may be interrupted and the connection may be lost. In such cases, the device may fail to start properly and could require repair.

3. If you are using a laptop, make sure it is connected to AC power during the firmware update.
